These apple and marzipan tartlets are perfect if you do not want to bake a whole cake. Especially if you can not hold in the Christmas eh anyway and is bombarded with goodies from all sides.
The recipe is just right for 6 small, not too sweet, juicy, Christmas Tartelettes and the ingredients in the Christmas time usually all in the house anyway. I just “borrowed” some marzipan potatoes from Santa Claus.
The ingredients of apple marzipan tartlets:
- 125g of flour
- 90g butter
- 25 sugar
- ½ egg
- 1 sweet apple
- 100 g marzipan
- some applesauce
- powdered sugar
How to do it:
First, crumble the soft butter with the flour. Then add the sugar and then the ½ egg. Mix everything well. Best first with a hand mixer and then knead into a lump. Now the dough can be left in the fridge for about an hour.
During this time you simply grease the little molds. Now you have to cut the apple into small, narrow pieces. And the marzipan is then rubbed with a coarse grater into small flakes.
Then you can preheat the oven to 175 ° C and bring out the dough again. It is then kneaded again briefly and then pressed into the molds. Now the Tartelettes are smeared with a layer of applesauce. Then a few marzipan flakes come on it. The pieces of apple are placed over it and the rest of the flakes are spread on top.
Now the tarts for about 30 minutes in the oven. After cooling, sprinkle with powdered sugar and enjoy!
Tasty, the little apple-marzipan tartlets.
