There are days when a cake has to do 3 things: 1. just work without drama, 2. taste all people and 3. be transportable. And that’s why there is raspberry quark pie today. My safe cake.
Raspberry quark pie
That’s what you need for the raspberry quark pie
For the dough
- 200 g of flour
- 100 g of butter
- 50 g of sugar
- 1 egg
- ½ packet of baking powder
For the cream
- 3 eggs
- 50 g of butter
- 100 g of sugar
- 600 g quark
- 30 g of gries
- 1 packet of vanilla sugar
- 1 packet of vanilla pudding (for cooking)
- 2 tbsp raspberry jam
This is how to bake raspberry quark pie
First you prepare the ground. Preheat the oven to 170 ° C and grease the sides of the springform pan and lay them out with baking paper.
Fill the soft butter with the egg and the sugar in a bowl and stir it with a stirrer. Then add flour and baking powder until you have a nice smooth dough. Finally, knead the dough with your hands and roll it out thinly. Using the Springform form a suitable piece and lifts the dough into the mold. If that does not work, you can just put the dough in the mold and press on.
Now you do the filling:
Stir the soft butter together with the sugar until creamy and then add eggs, vanilla sugar semolina and the custard powder. Finally, you stir the quark.
Fill the filling into the springform pan and spread some raspberry jam on the surface. Make small strudels with a fork and spread the jam a bit. Then the cake comes for about 50 minutes in the oven.
Let the cake cool on a grid and then put it in the fridge for about 1 hour.
All the best, Maike
