If you manage to build up the largest residential community in Germany and can look back on ten exciting years, that’s a reason to celebrate! That’s exactly what the founders Nicole Maalouf and Daniel Eichhorn achieved and invited the members of Solebich to the anniversary celebration in Munich. A great program was waiting for us with a photo workshop, city stroll and the evening event in an amazingly beautiful location in the Nymphenburgpark.
I’ve probably told the story here, but I still want to say a few words about why I care about this meeting and the Solebich community. More than five years ago I signed up with Solebich , because I was thrilled by the many great photos of residents like me. I never thought that laid the foundation for my entire professional career! It has encouraged me to have a lot of positive feedback from the members on my photos, to start my blog, and always challenged me a bit to improve my photography. Not least because of this I have managed to turn my hobby into a profession.
Since Nicole, Daniel and the team have always sought contact with the members and there have been many meetings, this time it felt like a family reunion – with people, some of whom knew only the apartments. But before I get sentimental again (on saturday already enough tears of happiness have flown 😉), I show you a few photos of the event and thank you very much to our hosts!
Right after our arrival on Saturday we started with a photo workshop in the Solebich office with the stylist and photographer Anastasia Benko. The beautiful house in Pasing with garden provided the perfect setting for wonderful furniture and decoration provided by companies such as vitra, Èlitis, louis poulsen, bulthaup, THONET, USM and OSRAM.
The anniversary celebration in the Nymphenburgpark
Granted, partying in a greenhouse in mid-summer was a real challenge for outfit and make-up. For that we were compensated with an incomparable ambience. And delicious food. Okee, Ruinart’s champagne has also helped a little 😛.
We celebrated until late into the night, danced to the music of a Balkan band and conducted insanely inspiring talks.
For the next ten years Solebich!
All the best
