The storage space in our hall has become scarce since the little man can walk and therefore also needs space in the shoe cabinet. It’s still two pairs of tiny little boots, but I’d rather prepare for a shoe collection like my daughter’s (or my own). The little box comes from my husband’s great-aunt and it fits perfectly with the other closet of my husband’s grandfather – a small ancestral gallery of furniture.
There they are now the two. Sometimes I want a minimalist style of decorating, but with children I’m just glad to be the master of the chaos of jackets, scarves, shoes, and whatever else kids still need to get out of the house.
