Waffles and milk rice – two reasons to indulge in sentimental feelings, because these are really two culinary highlights of my childhood. I just combined it all together and while enjoying my photo albums from the closet. The perfect Sunday afternoon activity.
Ingredients for the milk rice waffles
- 400 g boiled rice pudding (about 1 l of milk and 400 g of rice pudding)
- 6 eggs
- 8 tablespoons flour
- 1 pinch of salt
- 1 to 2 packets of vanilla sugar
- 2 teaspoons of baking soda
- powdered sugar
- waffle iron
that’s how it works
First, the rice pudding must be cooked. Then separate the eggs and stir the egg yolk under the rice. Add the flour, the baking powder and the vanilla sugar.
The egg whites are beaten in a bowl with a pinch of salt. Then you raise it under the rice.
Then the waffles can be baked with a little margarine in a waffle iron.
Yummie … and then finally waffle time. Serve with powdered sugar or eat everything secretly while baking yourself.
