You are still looking for an idea for a nice afternoon with friends? Last week we surprised our friend Theresa, who had just returned from her stay in the UK, with a high tea. That was really lovely.
Not to be missed was of course a good cup of English tea. Direct from Harrods. Served with stylish vintage service.
Very important for the high tea are the typical English pastry rolls: scones. The recipe will be available next Sunday in the Sunday cake. And then you enjoy with clotted cream and jam (best homemade).
As if that had not been nice enough, there was also (non-alcoholic) sparkling wine with raspberries. With the residues from . We finally had something to celebrate too. Although something falls out of the high tea theme, but still tasted great. It was a great afternoon! The scones are also ready to go, who has the jam already finished in the closet, which can really prepare in a few minutes everything. So look forward to the recipe on Sunday!
