Sometimes you only realize when writing how stupid a word actually looks – but I’ve just looked up “buffet” in the Duden again! No matter, it must taste and it does not matter, as the table with the treats 😉. At the weekend we celebrated with my dearest unimadels from studying in the garden and grilled delicious. It’s amazing how time goes by and meanwhile small and medium-sized children are jumping around, exciting job stories are exchanged and house plans are discussed. And yet, after all these years, we still manage to meet regularly.
The great lanterns I found a few years ago at the flea market, but there are also really nice colorful colorful lanterns on the Internet, if you would like something for your decoration (eg this one , I just picked out a short time for you, probably finds even better offers).
I got the sunflowers from my garden as a gift from my girlfriend, and I made the remaining flowers in my mother-in-law’s garden. How great that you can pick in the summer everywhere or swap or get brought!
The buffet in the outdoor kitchen was really busy because we had prepared so much delicious food. The recipe for a super delicious and fast appetizer I have to give you necessarily!
The other day at the Solebich anniversary there was an incredibly delicious tomato-watermelon gazpacho that I tried at home. That it was tested and approved by ten people, comes my own recipe for this:
- about 300 g of fruit flesh of a watermelon, without seeds
- 2 tomatoes
- about 150 ml of passed tomatoes
- 1 large garlic clove
- 2 spring onions
- 8 leaves of basil
- Salt, pepper, a pinch of ground coriander
- 2 tbsp olive oil
- 2 teaspoons of red wine vinegar
Cut all ingredients into small pieces and puree with the blender or in a blender. Season with salt, pepper and cilantro and serve chilled.
To serve you can fill the Gazpacho in small, colorful glasses and serve with a Grissini rod for dipping. Really a great, refreshing appetizer.
