Wow, so many nice comments from you about my outdoor kitchen, I’m glad you like it so much! After the summer has taken the last days break, we have finally completed the new layout for my blog. I could not decide what to write about first, if the look was a bit fresher, so today there is a deco recipe moodboard mix in my favorite colors.
My sister-in-law Elisa has designed the new lettering for me (do you remember her wonderfully beautiful here .
The DIY projects and recipes are now sorted in a gallery, so you do not always have to scroll down for hours. I should actually exchange the photo of me, because it is already one year old. But it was done on my daughter’s first day of school and I like to think back to it that I can not part with it yet.
Pickle salad with mango curry dressing, red lentils and feta (for 4 servings)
- 4 hands full of pickle salad with arugula and baby spinach
- 1 big zucchini
- 1/2 mango
- 2 tablespoons of pine nuts, roasted
- 2 spring onions, cut into rings
- 1 feta cheese
- a little oil for frying
- 1/2 cup of red lentils
For the dressing:
- 1/2 mango
- 5-7 tablespoons white balsamic vinegar
- 4 tablespoons oil
- 4 teaspoons brown sugar
- Salt pepper
- 1 tsp hot curry powder
For the salad cut the zucchini into slices and fry in oil, season with salt and pepper. Cook the lentils in water for about 10 minutes without salt, drain and leave to cool. Chop the remaining ingredients and add to the salad.
Cut the remaining mango from the core and place it in a blender with the remaining ingredients for the dressing, finely puree and spread over the salad.
In keeping with my new blog layout I was allowed to print business cards at moo *. I also had my last ones from there, but this time I took all the thickest paper and am now really happy with my business cards, which I could also use as a mini chopping board. Actually, I do not need them that often, but especially at fairs, they are the only thing with which I can present myself and my blog. At the Moodboard I let off steam and put everything in the picture, which is just a good mood …
In addition, I have a few with small photos. I honestly have no idea what I might need the stickers for, but then my sticker-collecting childhood memory came up again (may someone swap stickers with me during the break?).
I hope you like the new layout, so much has not changed! If you have any suggestions, I’m glad about your feedback, is somehow your blog :).
All the best! Catherine
* The business cards were kindly provided by moo. I would have ordered her anyway 😛
