Leelah loves is richer by another category! Finally it’s back to the garden! I would like to let you participate in experiments of a young gardener, in the attempt to plant as much edibles and as decorative as possible and with lots of DIY ideas for the balcony and garden!
Yesterday the sun lured me first into the garden center and then into the garden! I would have loved to load the trunk full of flowers right now, but after several winters as a garden owner, I can now brak myself (and wait patiently for the icy saints). But I took some flowers with me home!
Horny violets, daisy star and snowdrops were allowed home. I just like it, when in front of the house in pots in baskets something blooms!
Because all the garden furniture is still stored in the shed, I quickly built a planting table out of two wooden stands and the lid of the sandbox. Really very handy, when crawling do not have to crawl on the floor! And already I had another DIY idea for spring (added to the mental to-do-list).
With my paper pot I made small pots and seeded the first medicinal herbs. Last year I made my own tea mixture from the herbs in the garden and would like to plant my own tea plant this year! I sowed chamomile, then sow the fennel directly into the bed in May.
As a small decoration on the doorstep I have planted a Etagére with horned violets …
That was the first post from my garden! I’m looking forward to the next few weeks, when I take you in search of the tastiest wild herbs, fresh spring recipes and to relax on the beloved balcony!
Sunny greetings! Catherine
