Christmas mail from my kitchen

It’s just wonderful to get a delicious surprise package with treats from a foreign kitchen twice a year! Yes, it is time again, the next round of mail from my kitchen – in short PAMK – is in full swing! What, you do not know PAMK? Like this! PAMK is an action of Clara, Rike and Jeanny, they call several times a year to make a delicious package for a stranger (s) to be licked. There is also always a topic, now eg “Let’s be happy and tasty”, where you can hang along.

Tina from Jever was assigned to me this year. We have voted briefly by email and mitlerweile both our packages have arrived at each other.

I have Tina burnt almonds sent, I had tried this at the PAMK exchange in March on “childhood memories” to Martina from the blog Tortenjunkie and of course they fit perfectly with the Christmas theme.

In addition, disposable spoons with delicious chocolate, small pieces of marshmallow and orange zest, which you just have to stir in hot milk and you have a fantastic hot chocolate.

Then there was still a Chaitee syrup in there, you just have to cook 3 teaspoons of Yogitee in 0.5 liters of water for about 20 minutes, then strain and aucfkochen again with 100g sugar until the sugar has melted. Voilá has a Chaitee Essence with which you ratzfatz has prepared a great warming up hot drink!

Last but not least, I packed a box of stollen confection into the packet. For this, I cut the lumps, which had been baked two weeks ago, into small cubes and dipped them in liquid chocolate – mmmmmh!

All this I decorated with homemade labels (yes, the old DYMO device again and neon sticking points) and off the post went!

From Tina I got the following delicacies: Happy X-Mas biscuits with marzipan and home-milled vanilla, a glass of baked apple dream (like jam or as a compote for rice pudding, or simply pure from the spoon čśë), winter Amarettini chocolate crossies and tasty New Year’s croissants (Hohlhippen) which one can probably fill with whipped cream and which are refined with cardamom (nomnom). I know these waffles as an ice cream cake, which has always baked my grandma! All in all, a very wonderful package, lovingly packaged and almond-delectable! THANK YOU love Tina!

Maybe you have now also feel like the next round “post from my kitchen”. Just read the Facebook page and you’ll be well informed about upcoming events!

Now I’m going to start with my treats package! I wish you a wonderful first week of Advent!

xoxo Johanna
