Every summer we always like to drink a chai latte, even if the list of ingredients sounds a bit Christmassy at first glance. Especially when it gets even colder outside in the evening, it warms us up nicely from the inside. This variant is easy to carry in a small bag – you will need nothing but hot water for your Chai luck!

For us the perfect recipe for our Glamping theme week: Chai Latte to go! The finished powder lasts a few weeks, so you can prepare a little more of it right now.

That’s what you need for the chai latte

  • Teabags of your choice (we love green tea)
  • 40 grams of milk powder
  • 1 pinch of chili
  • 1 teaspoon of cardamom
  • 1 teaspoon of cinnamon
  • ½ teaspoon ginger powder
  • 1 packet of vanilla sugar
  • 1 pinch of nutmeg

Prepare for home

Mix all the spices and the milk powder together. Crush the cardamom and chili and chop very finely. Fill the mixture into a Ziplock bag and take it along with the favorite bags.

On site

On the spot, all you need to do is cook the tea and then stir in the powder. We take about a tablespoon per cup, but you can adjust the intensity as you like!
