This weekend we want to make plans for the garden year, among other things, regarding the use of our new raised bed (my husband wants to plant tomatoes, I want my own teacup bed). On the balcony above, a lot will do, in the garden, we finally want to put a fence to the feral neighbors plot and, and, and! In order for me to get in the right mood, I’ve been looking for some photos of the garden in May of last year (the white area that I see from the window does not really inspire me!).
The view of our old shed, which we originally wanted to tear down! With a new coat of gray and white, it fits really well to the house.
Last year, in front of the wooden deck, we created a bed of perennials that will hopefully grow tall this year as a privacy screen.
We are very proud of our raised beds because we have been harvesting vegetables for the last year! This is the salad with arugula, different pickles and radishes. If you go with the basket in the garden and harvest vegetables, you feel just great, independent and free – and it tastes sooo much better than greenhouse vegetables!
In the sandstone bed, the herbs are housed …
This is how our house looks from the outside! The front door is on the first floor, because the property faces north and we have so much light upstairs (where to stay most).
Do you also like to make plans for your house, your apartment or garden? My husband and I always like to spin around, dream of an orangery or conservatory and sometimes we talk about very realistic things! The third raised bed I claw in any case, so much is already fixed 😉
A nice weekend for you! Catherine
